Post Selecting sequence in the MSA editor
Dear all,

there's a few ways to select part or all of the sequences in an alignment (in the MSA editor).

    - Click once on the sequence label to select all that sequence.
    - Click + Shift on multiple sequence labels will select all those sequences.
    - A double click on a sequence will select all that segment between any gaps. If there are no gaps the entire sequence is selected
    - CMD + cursor keys. These all extend a selection in the direction of the cursor. That selection can be a single base, multiple bases in one sequence, or multiple bases in many sequences. For example if you have 10 bases selected in a sequence, then pressing CMD + the down cursor key will extend that 10 bp selection to all sequences below it in the alignment. Additionally pressing CMD + the UP cursor key will extend the selection to all sequences above. Another example is if you have a single base selected against multiple sequences. holding down CMD + RIGHT cursor key will extend that selection to the end of the alignment.
    - A single click followed by holding SHIFT and dragging should select the sequence(s).

Currently the last one is broken in MacVector 10.0.1 (fixed in 10.0.2 out next month).

Cheers
Chris
