MacVector 10.5 For Existing Customers
MacVector 10.5 is now available for download by qualified customers. To run MacVector 10.5, you must have a maintenance contract with MacVector Inc that was active on October 1st 2008, or have purchased an upgrade since that time. Please also note that MacVector 10.5 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
To see if you will be able to run MacVector 10.5 using your existing MacVector license, start MacVector 10, then choose "About MacVector" from the "MacVector" menu. You will see your license information displayed in the splash screen;
If your "Maintenance Ends:" date reads October 1, 2008 or later, you will be able to run MacVector 10.5. If not, you can register to download the trial version, then contact your local MacVector account manager (firstname.lastname@example.org) to learn about upgrade options.
All customers who are eligible to receive MacVector 10.5 will be sent CDs in the mail in the next few weeks. Alternatively, you can use this link to download the MacVector 10.5 updater.
MacVector 15.0.3 Update!
This fixes a few bugs in 15.0.2 and includes the 15.0.1 update that fixed a number of widely differing issues seen by a subset of Mac OS X 10.10 users.. Download the update here.
MacVector 15 Released!
MacVector 15 adds some great new protein tools - you can now scan for functional domains in proteins using the popular InterProScan interface and align DNA sequences based on their translations.You can read about the new functionality here and determine your eligibility for a free update here. MacVector 14 Released!
We are pleased to announce the first fully 64-bit version of MacVector. Along with the performance boost when working with large sequences and alignments, there are significant enhancements to primer handling (including support for primer databases) and NGS data.
