Installer quits with Type 3 error message

The MacVector installer quits with the message 'The application MacVector has unexpectedly quit because an error of the type 3 occurred'.

The MacVector 7.1.x and 7.2.x installers require CarbonLib 1.4 or later in the System Extensions folder on Mac OS 9.x and earlier. If you have an older version of CarbonLib, then you should upgrade the CarbonLib file and then reboot your machine before attempting to run the MacVector installer.
